The Prologue alludes also to the Duke of York's triumphant return from Scotland on 24 Feb. 1679@80, and the play was entered in the Term Catalogues, May 1680. As afterpiece the playbill announces THE MIDNIGHT WANDERERS, but "Rosina succeeded the play. The play was advertised in the London Gazette, No 2959, 19-22 March 1693@4.
