Henry the Fifth gave way to The Siege of Belgrade, and The Cave of Trophonius was also superseded, as it was impossible for the vocal performers to sustain the whole effort of the night" (Morning Post, 18 Oct.). Hull's Legendary Tale of Richard Plantagenet. It was well written, and produced a considerable degree of effect.
