Interspersed with a comic interlude, <i>The Volunteers</i>. Also the comical humours and amours of <i>Corporal Garbage</i>r and <i>Serjeant Slim</i>r, with <i>Mrs Vanspriggen</i>r the Swedish Sutler's widow, the merry pranks of her foolish son <i>Janny</i>r, and several other diverting incidents.
